24 Hours & Still Standing!

The impossible has just happened! The blog I've been writing off and on all day has DISAPPEARED! Darn it. I wish I could say it was fascinating and worthy of publication. But it wasn't.  In fact, boring.
But boring is OK this week. Relaxing is a better word. And SAFE SO FAR! I even have a bracelet where they will track and find me to get me to our muster station in an emergency.  And they bring me ice for my foot throughout the day. And, of course, Monica watches out for me every moment. She's great! 

Yep...boring in a very nice kind of way. 

I can't write everything all over again, so I'm going to close with Yacht Club  pics.

First of all, Gentle Readers, prepare yourselves for my X-rated shot of the trip... Maybe its because we are on an Italian ship. Whatever the reason.  Men here wear bikinis. High seas and (near) fall

The clouds mounted yesterday while in Cozemel and the Captain alerted us to rough seas coming up when we left port. The darkening sky was pretty clear warning as well. 60 knot winds, to be exact. My faithful Goldie (walker/rollator) was not quite up for the challenge and I veered off course in a hallway after dinner, right into a wall. It was good Monica had insisted on a butler escort from the dining room. He grabbed me and averted a crash for me and a heart attack for Monica! Whew! Over night the high seas continued but that made for good sleeping,  so no worries.  Too windy (30 knots) for going on the pool deck today, so we headed out of our "bubble"...the Yacht Club... and into the mega ship for shopping.  Discounted perfume served our need to spend our few cruise credit dollars.
