Flying fish, an (almost) naked sunbather, & retail therapy (not)

It's a beautiful sea day. Morning coffee on balcony. A little reading. Entertaining flying fish. But MORE eye catching was a man about 15 floors below us who appeared to be nude!! 

Yep, you see a lot of humankind on a ship of 4000+.

After fish & chips for lunch in the YC (naturally), we headed off to spend our $80 each in "free money" as a gift from the travel agent. (The rest is being applied to pay gratuities.) 

Well, going to the shops means mingling with the masses. But we were up for it...we thought. Surprise #1. There are NO perfumes anymore for less than $137. Surprise #2. You can actually spend $475 on a bottle of rum. Surprise #3? We high tailed it back to the YC hands free of any shopping bags!

Now I'm back to our balcony. Ahhhh. The blue water. Spotify playing quietly. Ankle elevated.

Life is good.

First of all, Gentle Readers, prepare yourselves for my X-rated shot of the trip... Maybe its because we are on an Italian ship. Whatever the reason.  Men here wear bikinis. High seas and (near) fall

The clouds mounted yesterday while in Cozemel and the Captain alerted us to rough seas coming up when we left port. The darkening sky was pretty clear warning as well. 60 knot winds, to be exact. My faithful Goldie (walker/rollator) was not quite up for the challenge and I veered off course in a hallway after dinner, right into a wall. It was good Monica had insisted on a butler escort from the dining room. He grabbed me and averted a crash for me and a heart attack for Monica! Whew! Over night the high seas continued but that made for good sleeping,  so no worries.  Too windy (30 knots) for going on the pool deck today, so we headed out of our "bubble"...the Yacht Club... and into the mega ship for shopping.  Discounted perfume served our need to spend our few cruise credit dollars.
