Yes - I AM going on another cruise!

I guess it's like getting up after falling down. We all have to do it.  For me, it's another cruise.

So, for those who need catching up...

It's now been 6 months since I fell on the cruise ship off South Africa and had emergency surgery in Namibia.

I graduated from wheelchair to walker/rollator in February, and then to cane in March. I still have the cane but almost ready to toss it as well. My balance, or lack thereof, is the issue.  Then there's continual ankle swelling. Oh well. Maybe the cane will be with me a while longer.

Nonetheless, my dear friend Monica and I are headed tomorrow out of Port Canaveral on a 7-day cruise.

Today, Tommy is driving me down because he thinks I'm still too unfit to drive myself. Bless his heart.  He's driving straight back home, for a total of 12 hours today! And, next week,  he's driving to come get me.

I feel a bit like a kid being brought to summer camp! Now, if I can just remember camp songs we can sing!

This is post #1 of my Girlfriend Cruise. I know it may be of little interest to you, so feel free to disregard future posts as they pop up.
